Madison Animal Hospital

Our hospital and staff care for all small animals, including exotic species and companion animals.  Our doctors are experienced in providing preventative medicine such as vaccinations and dewormings, as well as complex internal medicine cases.  We perform state of the art diagnostics and many treatment procedures in house. Madison Animal Hospital offers strategic, streamlined care for each individual patient.  No two patients are alike, therefore care plans such as vaccinations, geriatric health, and pain management are all formulated specifically for your pet.   Appointments are preferred for your convenience, but walk ins are always welcome.  Our office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, Wednesday and Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.

Going on vacation?  We offer a full service boarding facility for your loved one with spacious kennels and a large backyard for them to explore.  We accomodate special diets and all of your pet's medicinal requirements.  Please call for reservations, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Whether it's a special occasion or your pet needs routine grooming, Lisa Andrews has over ten years' experience in this field, and maintains a no-muzzle policy.  If you're having trouble giving your cat or dog a bath, Lisa can give them the TLC they deserve.  Please schedule in advance.

At Madison Animal Hospital, we offer a broad range of routine and specialty surgical procedures.  Our surgical suite can accommodate spays and neuters  as well as many eye and bone procedures.  We are very proud of our successes with trauma surgeries, including cosmetic repair of wounds.  Most dental procedures can be performed at our hospital.  We maintain flexible surgical times to accomodate your busy schedule.  Most surgical procedures are discharged the same day.  All surgical patients receive pain control because patient comfort is prioritized at Madison Animal Hospital.

The Doctors at Madison Animal Hospital are dedicated to senior care.  Our older patients have a special place in your heart and ours, and we offer the best possible care for each of them.  This includes individualized diet selection, nutritional and herbal supplements and arthritis medications. We offer geriatric diagnostics including, but not limited to, bloodwork, urinalysis and culture, blood pressure measurement and twice yearly physical exams.  Because pets age more rapidly than we do, preventative medicine is crucial to giving them long and healthy lives. Identifying conditions before they are problems can delay the onset of illness or even prevent it entirely.  It is our goal here at Madison Animal Hospital to keep your pet with you as long as possible and to make their days happy and comfortable.  If you have an elderly furry, feathered or scaly family member, we would love to meet him/her and assist you in caring for them in their golden years.  It is a privilege to give back to these senior citizens who have given so much to each of us.

Madison Animal Hospital has acquired many incredible success stories in the field of pain management through alternative therapies.  We currently offer herbal therapy and massage therapy for many of our patients.  In the future we will provide many more aspects of alternative therapies, including chiropractics and homeopathy.  It is our commitment to your pet's individual health that drives us to learn new, less invasive techniques to provide health, well-being and comfort for each pet.  Bring in your loved one to discuss what therapies will work best for you and your pet family.
